PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the decontamination efficiency of the inside of a room to be decontaminated and an air intake filter.SOLUTION: An isolator includes: a room to be decontaminated which has an air intake port with an air intake filter and an air discharge port with an air discharge filter; a first flow path which takes outside air into the room to be contaminated through the air intake filter; a second flow path which discharges gas in the room to be contaminated through the air discharge filter; a blower which takes the outside air into the room to be contaminated through the first flow path and produces an air flow discharging the gas in the room to be contaminated through the second flow path; a decontaminating gas supply part which supplies a decontaminating gas into the room to be contaminated not through the air intake filter and the air discharge filter; and a third flow path which, when the decontaminating gas is supplied into the room to be contaminated, discharges the gas in the room to be contaminated through the air intake filter.
