PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound for therapy of hepatic dysfunction including HCV infection; a composition comprising the same; and a therapeutic method using the same.SOLUTION: Provided are a diastereomerically pure compound of a guanosine nucleotide derivative represented by the formula, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or hydrate; and a method of therapy for a host such as a human infected with Flaviviridae virus, comprising administration of an effectively therapeutic amount thereof alone or in combination with another antiviral drug.
