PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transducer device, an ultrasonic transducer unit, a head unit, an ultrasonic probe, an ultrasonic image device, and a method for controlling the ultrasonic transducer device capable of improving a transmission sound pressure and reception sensitivity while using a small number of selector switches.SOLUTION: A ultrasonic transducer device 200 includes: a first element group EG1 connected between first and second nodes and having one or more ultrasonic transducer elements; a second element group EG2 connected between third and fourth nodes and having one or more ultrasonic transducer elements; first to third signal terminals XA1-XA3; a first signal electrode line L1 for connecting the first node and the signal terminal XA1; a second signal electrode line L2 for connecting the second and third nodes and the signal terminal XA2; and a third signal electrode line L3 for connecting the fourth node and the signal terminal XA3.
