A data protection method, apparatus and system relates to the technical field of communications, which can reduce the security determining delay of outgoing data and further, improve the outgoing efficiency of the data, thereby improving the user experience. A specific solution comprises: receiving outgoing data from a user terminal, the outgoing data carrying an identity of a user; obtaining a user class and a reputation value of the user from a reputation server according to the identity, the reputation value being the violation percentage of the outgoing data of the user; sending the outgoing data, the user class and the reputation value to a DLP server, so that the DLP server determines the security of the outgoing data according to the user class and the reputation value, and further, the DLP server generates a message comprising a determined result; and receiving the message comprising the determined result and coming from the DLP server, and processing, according to the determined result, the outgoing data by using a policy corresponding to the determined result. The present invention is used in the process of outgoing data protection. |
