PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position setting device capable of easily making a setting of a soldering position, a position setting method, and a position setting program.SOLUTION: A position setting device includes: a display control part that makes a display part display an image of a base plate soldered by soldering equipment; a coordinate conversion part that converts a soldering position on the image of the base plate to a coordinate on the image of the base plate; a path calculation part that calculates an optimum path passing through the coordinate; the optimum path that is determined by the path calculation part; and an output part that outputs the coordinate to the soldering equipment.
