PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which can smoothly and rigidly connect resin pipes without causing damage and bite-in to an elastic seal ring even in a state that the resin pipes are slantly cut, and can connect the resin pipes up to a prescribed position while securing seal performance.SOLUTION: In a pipe joint, at the insertion of a slantly-cut resin pipe 2, an end face 50a of the slantly-cut resin pipe which is retardingly inserted abuts on a rear end face of an insertion guide 10, and locked to a locking end 43 of an insertion-side seal member 12. The end face 50a of the resin pipe which is inserted ahead abuts on a rear end face of the insertion guide; the locking end 43 is locked or pressed to an external peripheral face of the seal member 12; and the rear end face of the insertion guide 10 maintains a state of being pressed by the end face 50a of the slantly-cut resin pipe. |
