A multicarrier-based optical transmitting subsystem, and a method for generating an optical signal. The optical transmitting subsystem comprises a comb-shaped light source apparatus (11), a micro-ring group (12), and a public waveguide (13). The comb-shaped light source apparatus (11) is used for generating and outputting polychromatic light. The micro-ring group (12) comprises multiple micro-ring modulators (34). Each of the multiple micro-ring modulators (34) comprises an inputting ends and a downloading ends. The inputting ends of the multiple micro-ring modulators (34) are separately connected to the comb-shaped light source apparatus (11). The multiple micro-ring modulators (34) are used for separately filtering and modulating the polychromatic light to obtain optical signals with different frequencies, and outputting the optical signals with different frequencies by using respective downloading ends. The public waveguide (13) is connected to the downloading ends of the multiple micro-ring modulators (34) and is used for combining of the optical signals with different frequencies. The micro-ring group (12) filters and modulates the polychromatic light to obtain the optical signals with different frequencies, and the optical signals with different frequencies are output to the public waveguide (13) by using the respective downloading ends; in this manner, the polychromatic light can be separated, modulation signals are loaded to a light carrier obtained by means of filtering, so as to obtain the optical signals with different frequencies; and by connecting the downloading ends of the micro-ring modulators (34) in the micro-ring group (12) to the public waveguide (13), the optical signals with different frequencies obtained by means of modulation are combined in the public waveguide (13), so that the multicarrier optical transmitting subsystem does not need to be disposed with an extra demultiplexer and a wavelength division multiplexer, thereby simplifying the structure of the multicarrier optical transmitting subsystem, and helping reduce the cost of the multicarrier optical transmitting subsystem. |
