Provided is a seat for vehicles, capable of housing a seat main body in a housing floor by using a simple construction, and not having arranged in the housing floor surface any constituent components for a housing structure. The seat (S) for vehicles comprises: a support leg (30) detachably held by a leg holding member (50) that is upon the vehicle body floor, said support leg (30) supporting a seat cushion (2); and a support base (40) coupled to the vehicle body floor and rotatably supporting a seat back (1). The seat back (1) rotates relative to the support base (40) so as to cause the seat cushion (2) to move to the housing floor side. The support leg (30) rotates corresponding to the rotation of the seat back (1) and relative to the seat cushion (2), and is detached from the leg holding member (30) when the seat back (1) has reached a prescribed rotation position. The support leg (30) is arranged lower than the leg support member (50) when stowed.
