A laser treatment device comprises: a laser light output unit (24) which is provided with a light source that outputs a first laser light; a laser light emission unit (31) which guides and/or beam forms the first laser light to convert the first laser light into a second laser light and emits the second laser light outside; a second light intensity detection unit (32) which detects the intensity of the second laser light; a pre-use inspection unit (201) which performs an inspection prior to use on the basis of at least the detection result of the second light intensity detection unit (32); a pre-use inspection implementation determination unit (202) which, on the basis of past activation information and the inspection result of the pre-use inspection unit, determines whether or not an inspection prior to use has been performed which corresponds to a current activation; and a notification unit (29) which notifies the determination result of the pre-use inspection implementation determination unit (202) during the current activation.
