Recently, the importance of green industry for energy saving has been increasingly stressed. In particular, nations of the world is concentrating on spreading supply of light emitting diode (LED) lamps for high efficiency of lamps, such as a traffic light, a street light, a fluorescent light, or the like, which consume the largest amount of energy in the entire industry. Because, the LED lamp is driven by DC power, SMPS power has often been used as driving power for the LED lamp. Recently, supply of an AC driving method is spreading, wherein the AC driving method has improved efficiency, as compared with SMPS, and has dramatically improved life. However, a shortcoming of the AC driven LED lamp is that there is a difference between driving time of respective LEDs used in the LED lamp to cause a different between the brightnesses of the respective LEDs to lead to a difference between the stress of the respective LEDs, thereby reducing the life of the LED lamp. In the AC-driven LED lamp, the LED lamp is configured and controlled such that the brightness of all LEDs used in the LED lamp can be equal to each other, thereby improving light quality of the LED lamp and greatly enhancing efficiency and lift of the LED lamp. |
