<p>A vehicle seat comprising a load-bearing structure (3) and a first and a second shaped panel (4, 5) carried by the load-bearing structure (3) and forming the seat base and the backrest of the seat (1), respectively. The load-bearing structure (3) comprises a first and a second supporting side element (6, 7) which extend along opposite sides of the seat (1) and are interconnected to each other by a transversal element (8) which extends at the junction zone of the seat base with the backrest.
