TORQUE COUPLING AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE TORQUE COUPLING

The clutch has a coupling half (7) comprising a clutch screw thread (11) in a rotation direction against another clutch screw thread (10) of another coupling half (6). A sleeve (9) is provided with sleeve screw threads (12, 13). The sleeve screw threads are screwed with one of the clutch threads. The sleeve is driven by a rotation speed-variable drive unit (15) and rotated by the drive unit at angular speed so that axial spacing (21) of the halves to each other is changed and the sleeve is synchronously rotated with the halves so that the axial spacing remains same. The threads are fine threads and external threads. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjustment of an axial position of rotors of turbomachines of a strand.
