An installation bracket 110 includes first and second fixings 124, 125 for attachment to first and second articles . The first fixing has an L-shaped cross section, and the second fixing has a leg portion. Two moveable arms 122a, 122b are pivotally coupled to one another and provide a moveable connection between the first and second fixings. A slot 152 is formed in at least one of the arms or the second fixing and controls movement of the overall linkage to enable the second fixing to move past the first fixing in a linear motion. In a second aspect, a wall module (90, fig 1) such as a prefabricated panel timber frame, is provided. The wall module includes one or more of the installation brackets as well as an article, such as a window (80, fig 1). A method of constructing a modular building is also provided. |
