PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine increased in operation efficiency. SOLUTION: A first jackpot game is performed which includes a first round game performing first opening operation for opening a variable prize device in a manner that a game ball is hard to enter, and second opening operation for opening the variable prize device in a manner that the game ball is easy to enter as compared with the first opening operation, and a second round game performing third opening operation for opening the variable prize device in a pattern that the game ball is easy to enter as compared with the second opening operation. A second jackpot game is performed which includes only the first round games. A first jackpot game performing unit for performing the first jackpot game, starts the second round game by terminating the first round game, when a first round game period passes after the start of the first round game, and starts the second round game by terminating the first round game even without the passage of the first round game period, when the number of game balls entering the variable prize device reaches a predetermined number.
