<p>The present invention relates to a parking brake for a vehicle, capable of having behavior stability of a brake. The parking brake includes a shoe cylinder fixed to a back plate; a brake shoe which is coupled to the shoe cylinder on both ends thereof, is disposed along the inner surface of the brake drum, and brakes the brake drum as the brake shoe is pressed by the shoe cylinder; an elastic holder which is placed to come in contact with the brake shoe and the back plate; a coupling member which is coupled through the elastic holder and the back plate to press the elastic holder; and a step forming unit which allows the elastic holder to apply uniform elastic force to the brake she by being placed between the pressing part of the coupling member and one side of the back plate to form a gap.</p> |
