<p>The present invention relates to a sensor for a parking assistant system, which detects an obstacle by being installed in a specific position of a vehicle and includes multiple sensors equipped with multiple pins respectively. The sensor identifies ground connection connected to the ground (GND) of multiple LID pins, ignition connection connected to an ignition power source, or connection of multiple pins which are not connected. Also, the sensor sets a unique identifier according to the connection of the identified pins. When a sensor is additionally installed in a vehicle for a smart parking assistant system (SPAS) using eight sensors and a blind spot detection system for detecting an obstacle in a blind spot, a process for installing an additional wire is not necessary. Also, the number of LIN driver compartments, such as an LIN transceiver, can be reduced.</p> |
