The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for marking a serration peak of a torsion bar. An objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for matching a serration peak of a torsion bar, capable of automatically performing a work of marking two serration peaks of both of left and right ends of a torsion bar, which are matched with each other. To this end, the present invention provides an apparatus for marking a serration peak of a torsion bar, which includes: a frame; a torsion bar support part installed on the frame to rotatably support the torsion bar; a torsion bar rotating unit installed on the frame and coupled to both of the left and right ends of the torsion bar supported by the torsion bar support part to rotate the torsion bar; an inspecting unit to photograph serrations formed on both of the left and right ends of the torsion bar; a marking head to perform a marking work for the torsion bar; and a control unit to control the torsion bar support part, the torsion bar rotating unit, the inspecting unit, and the marking head, to detect positions, in which the peaks and the valleys of the serrations formed on both of the left and right ends of the torsion bar are matched with each other, based on the photograph acquired from the inspecting unit, and to control the torsion bar rotating unit and the marking head to mark the detected positions, and a method for marking a serration peak of a torsion bar. |
