<p>A trestle 1 has a frame structure 2, with at least three contact points 3, 4, 5 adapted to engage with a planar surface of a worktop X and a pair of legs 6, 7 extending from the frame structure 2. The frame 2 may be V-shaped with two contact points adjacent to the free ends of the V, and the third contact point at the apex. The legs 6, 7 may extend from the free ends of the V-shaped frame 2, and may extend substantially normal to the frame. The legs 6, 7and frame 2 structure may be integrally formed and may be formed from a single length of tube. The contact points 3, 4, 5 may comprise projections to engage recesses in a worktop X and a retractable pin 8 may be provided at the apex of the frame structure 2 to releasably engage in a recess in a worktop X. In use the trestle is adapted to support a worktop off the ground with the three contact points 3, 4, 5 engaging the worktop X and the legs 6, 7 spacing the worktop X off the floor.</p> |
