<p>A stand for one or more fishing poles comprises a vertical support member 12 and a telescopic lateral support member 20. The lateral support is mounted on it at or adjacent to its midpoint to the vertical support by means of an adjustable pivot head 30. The lateral support member comprising a pole roost 34, 36 at each end and whose separation is adjustable. The vertical support may also be telescopic and is provided with a screw threaded portion 50 to secure the stand in the ground. The pole roosts may be provided with foam padding and be formed with recesses for receiving the poles.</p> |
