<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular rotary electric machine which eliminates a rotor ventilation path on which dust accumulates easily, and suppresses heat generation from a rotor and a bearing due to removal of the rotor ventilation path. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular rotary electric machine includes a stator iron core (stator) 11 fixed on the inner periphery side of a substantially cylindrical frame 1, and a rotor constructed by disposing a rotor iron core 7 on the inner periphery of the stator iron core 11, disposing a shaft 6 at the center of the rotor iron core 7, disposing a bearing bracket 2 on one end of the frame 1 and a housing 3 on the other end of the frame 1, and supporting both ends of the shaft 6 in the bearing bracket 2 and in the housing 3 via bearings 4 and 5, respectively. The vehicular rotary electric machine also has a ventilation channel, through which cooling wind taken in from the fresh air flows in one direction of a rotating axis direction, and the cooling wind is guided to flow through a gap 13 between the rotor and the stator and through a ventilation path 1c formed on part of the outer periphery of the stator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
