<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibration piece miniaturizable in outer shape size. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric vibration piece includes a frame part 2 and a vibration part 3. The frame part 2 includes a sidewall part 2c connecting one main surface 2a and the other main surface 2b on its outer periphery. The sidewall part 2c has a first slope 2d which inclines from the one main surface 2a to the side of the other main surface 2b, and in which an end 2f on the side of the other main surface 2b is formed outside a contour 2i of the one main surface 2a in a plan view and further has a second slope 2e which inclines from the other main surface 2b to the side of the one main surface 2a, and in which an end 2g on the side of the one main surface 2a is formed outside a contour 2j of the other main surface 2b in plan view. At least at part of the sidewall part 2c the end 2f of the first slope 2d on the other main surface 2a side makes contact with the end 2g of the second slope 2e on the one main surface 2a side. A distance L1 from the one main surface 2a to the end 2f of the first slope 2d on the side of the other main surface 2b in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the one main surface 2a is shorter than a distance L2 from the one main surface 2a to a vibration surface 3a on the side of the one main surface 2a of the vibration part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
