METHOD AND APPARATUS OF CONTROLLING RADIO LINK IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM SUPPORTING DUAL CONNECTIVITY

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to control a radio link in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity. The method comprises the following steps of: detecting a radio resource failure (RLF) for a small cell provided by a small base station, separately from detecting an RLF for a macro cell provided by a macro base station; generating a small cell RLF indication to indicate the RLF for the small cell if the RLF about the small cell is detected; and transmitting the small cell RLF to a radio resource control (RRC)-connected macro base station. According to the present invention, it is possible to manage a radio link between a terminal and a macro cell and, separately, another radio link between the terminal and a small cell when dual connectivity to the macro and small cells is configured in a network.
