The present invention relates to a food composition for alleviating constipation, and more specifically, to a food composition for alleviating constipation containing 5-10 wt% of agarum cribrosum in powder form. As a result of checking the effects of administration of agarum cribrosum to weight change and diet efficiency of an animal, and gut transit time and bowel movement state of gut contents, it was confirmed that agarum cribrosum has excellent performance in alleviating constipation. Therefore agarum cribrosum can be used in the development of food compositions.
