Disclosed are an authoring device based on ubiquitous virtual reality using a smart phone for home control and an authoring method thereof. The authoring method based on virtual reality using a smart phone allows a user to arrange a virtual object, which is designed in advance, in a desired position by moving a visual point to the desired position within a virtual space designed in advance and loaded in a smart terminal, selecting the virtual object through a graphic user interface, and activating the virtual object in the virtual space.
