Fence weed barrier is a detail that keeps your fence always clean and maintained without having to use any additional equipment. The weed barrier consists of a steel sheet with two bendings, and looks like an L-profile. The bottom edge of the detail has in certain part a back-bent flange or stiffener. This enables mowing and it can be stepped upon without causing any deformation to the edge or making the surface wavy, etc. The stiffener is located 200 mm from the edges of the detail and it enables to arrange profiles at different angles, for example in the corners of the fence. In the middle part, for 2 x 200 mm, the detail does not have the stiffener, which makes it possible to cut the detail into halves. The upper edge of the detail has a row of holes required for fitting the barrier to the fence element. Hole spacings have been selected to enable the profile to be connected to any type of welded mesh fence (also in case of different size of the mesh). The fitting holes can also be used to connect the opposite profile. The detail has either plastic, epoxy or powder coating which makes it weather resistant. |
