PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer containing amino group, which can exhibit excellent ability to prevent resoiling during washing while excelling in compatibility with a surfactant, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The polymer contains, as necessary components, followings having specific structures: (i) a structural unit, originated from a monomer containing an amino group; and (ii) a structural unit originated from a nonionic monomer and/or a monomer containing an amino group.
