The present invention relates to a catalyst for olefin polymerization, including a transition metal compound of a novel structure, a preparation method thereof, and a method for preparing polyolefin using the same. According to the present invention, the catalyst can prepare polyolefin having improved processability. Provided is a method for preparing polyolefin including a step of polymerizing at least one type of an olefin-based monomer under the presence of the catalyst.
