<p>The present invention relates to an exhaust heat recovery device which recovers and uses the exhaust heat discarded after combustion in engine of a vehicle. More specifically, the present invention relates to a rotary exhaust heat recovery device which includes a semi-cylindrical heat exchanger received inside an exhaust heat pipe to be rotatable and in which heat is exchanged between high-temperature exhaust gas supplied from a bypass channel and a low-temperature cooling water introduced through an inlet of the cooling water, wherein a side surface of the heat exchanger is formed of a diameter surface formed in a flat surface and an arc surface formed in a bent surface, and the diameter surface of the heat exchanger includes an inlet of exhaust gas penetrated and formed to have one side surface closed with respect to a rotary shaft of the heat exchanger and the exhaust gas introduced through the other side surface to be flowed in an exhaust gas channel. By deleting a bypass valve and integrating a heat exchange function and a bypass channel opening/closing function to the heat exchanger, a manufacturing process is simplified and cost of production and weight are reduced. The exhaust gas is prevented from being introduced into the heat exchanger when bypassing without any additional parts to improve thermal insulation performance of the cooling water.</p> |
