<p>The invention relates to a rapid-exchange adapter (20) for injection devices (1) with a base which is provided with a mounting surface (26) for adapting the injection device (1) and at least one tensioning element (50) which can rotate. On the base (21), there is at least a first bore (30) which is at a right angle to the mounting surface, with said borehole being intended for the support of at least one holding element (5) which is affixed to the injection device (1). The clamping element (50), at least partly, extends into the first borehole (30), wherein the rotational axis (59) of the tensioning element (50) is located parallel to the mounting surface (26).
