<p>Disclosed is an automatic ring topology information-sharing apparatus, which enables a plurality of nodes of a ring domain in a ring topology network to automatically share ring topology information. A message selection part selects a message to be transmitted by the plurality of nodes of a ring domain in accordance to a situation. A message transmission/reception part transmits the selected message, which contains at least one information among node information and path information, in both directions on each fixed cycle in order to spread the message to every node in the ring domain; receives a message transmitted by a node itself and other nodes; and monitors the state of each node and each path. If a failure is determined from the received message to be generated in a specific span of a ring topology network, a control part performs protection switching to a label switched path (LSP) having a second direction different from the direction of an LSP having a predetermined first direction. According to the present invention, the nodes of a ring domain in a ring topology network can automatically collect and share ring topology information. If each node of the ring domain automatically collects and shares ring topology information, the need of a separate configuration is eliminated and the duration of a traffic service interruption can be minimized. As a result, the present invention can provide a reliable service.</p> |
