<p>The present invention relates to a multimedia connection apparatus which enables a separate reset of each external memory by determining whether the external memories are normally operated by signals received from the external memories connected to a connector; and when it is determined that an external memory is in an abnormal state, reapplying power supplied to the abnormal external memory to reset it. The multimedia connection apparatus includes: a plurality of connector units which have a plurality of pins formed therein to which external memories are connected thereto, respectively; a power supply unit which applies power to the external memory mounted to each connector unit; a determination unit which determines whether the external memories are normally operated in accordance to the signals received from the external memories; and a control unit which controls an abnormal external memory to be reset using power applied to the abnormal external memory among the external memories in accordance to the determination result from the determination unit.</p> |
