The present invention relates to a network-based system for measuring and monitoring radiation around a life environment. The present invention is to measure, store, and monitor the amount of radiation for a residence unit around a life environment by a wire or radio in real time. In a network system having a home network server, the network-based system for measuring and monitoring radiation around a life environment comprises: one or more radiation detectors installed in a CCTV monitoring area around the life environment of the residence units, measuring the amount of peripheral radiation, and transmitting the measured data to a home network-based residence unit monitoring server with specific detector identification information by a wire or radio in real time; and the residence unit monitoring server receiving and storing the detector identification information on each radiation detector and the measured radiation data in real time, processing and monitoring the data, interlocked with the home network server in the residence units to monitor the measured radiation data or the processed data through a home network-based monitor at home in real time. Thus, the present invention enables a user to monitor the amount of radiation around the life environment of the own residence area in the monitor using the home network system operated by the residence unit monitoring server in real time.
