According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method to evaluate the quality of a spot welding based on whether a spatter is generated or not may include the steps of: repeatedly performing an experiment regarding whether the spatter is generated or not; obtaining a reference value to determine the generation of spatter; obtaining a quality evaluation parameter using a dynamic resistance curve of the spot welding; comparing the quality evaluation parameter with the reference value; and determining whether the spatter is generated or not. Therefore, in accordance to the method of evaluating the quality of a spot welding, the generation of the spatter or the quality defection of the spot welding can be detected in real-time before a base material is molten.
