The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a carbon nanofiber complex coated with metals, comprising the steps of (A) wrapping or coating carbon nanotube with a polymer electrolyte; (B) distributing a catalyst on the surface of the carbon nanotube by dipping the carbon nanotube wrapped or coated with a polymer electrolyte in the catalyst; and (C) forming a metal coating layer by electroless plating the carbon nanotube with the catalyst using an electroless plating solution. The method improves electromagnetic wave shielding properties and electrical conductivity by realizing a compact metal structure.
