PURPOSE: A floating photobioreactor having photocatalysts is provided to efficiently culture photosynthetic microalgae in the sea without additional nutrients and external energy. CONSTITUTION: A floating photobioreactor comprises a culture vessel(101) which is formed of light transmission materials having entirely or partially applied photocatalysts, and floating device on which the culture vessel is fixed. The floating photobioreactor has one or more partitions. The photocatalysts convert nitrogen gas(N_2) into nitrate ion(NO_3^-), ammonium(NH_3), or ammonium ion(NH_4^+). |
