The present invention relates to a motor protection device and a motor control system including the same. The motor protection device includes: a voltage increase inhibiting part which is connected to an output terminal of an inverter part of an inverter and controls a voltage level for a voltage rise ratio per unit hour; a surge filter part which is installed between the voltage increase inhibiting part and a motor, rectifies output voltages of the voltage increase inhibiting part so as to lower a surge spike, and absorbs the rectified output voltages; and a regeneration part which is installed between the surge filter part and a smoothing condenser part of the inverter and inhibits voltage surge by returning the surge spike, absorbed by the surge filter part, back to the smoothing condenser part.
