PURPOSE: A user based bicycle management system is provided to allow a bicycle terminal to authenticate a password and restrict repetitive use of the password, thereby preventing illegal use of the password. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a rental command through an input unit of a bicycle terminal(21_1) installed in a bicycle. A terminal control unit selects a request password and displays the same on a display unit. The user activates an application for bicycle management of a portable terminal(50) and transmits user authentication information and the request password to a management server(100) through a relay. An authentication unit of the management server authenticates the user. A server control unit selects a rental password corresponding to the request password in a password storage unit and transmits the rental password to the portable terminal through a relay(62). The user inputs the rental password through the input unit.
