PURPOSE: A device of controlling transmission output of a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof is provided to control transmission output of a mobile communication terminal while servicing a service in a femto cell base station for minimizing interference to a neighboring base station. CONSTITUTION: A measuring unit(510) periodically measures electricity of a downlink receiving signal and ROT(Rise Over Thermal) by the macro cell base station. A base ROT setting unit(520) establishes a base ROT by using the electricity of the downlink receiving signal. When ROT is bigger than the base ROT, an output calculating unit(530) produces a transmission power of a femtocell user terminal dy using the base ROT. The control unit controls a transmission output of a user terminal in the femto base station using the calculated transmission power. |
