System and Method for Correcting GPS error of Container Tracer

The present invention relates to a method for correcting a GPS error of a container tracer in which the accuracy is improved by selecting a position coordinate transmitted by comparing the other GPS coordinate with a coordinate which is not beyond the margin of the error by selecting a reference coordinate among the received effective GPS information. The preset invention comprises a GPS position determination module to select a transmission position coordinate nu comparing the received GPS coordinates with the coordinate which is not beyond the margin of the error by selecting the reference coordinate among the received effective GPS information and by being formed in a location tracer and the location tracer which informs the current position using the GPS received within the apparatus by being attached to the container; a location collecting server to collect GPS data provided from the location tracer; and a global cargo tracking system (GCTS) server to syntagmatically manage container tracing based on the coordinate transmitted from the location tracer.
