The present invention relates to a heat sink structure with light weight for a display device. Especially, a heat sink (10,20,30) includes: a core member (13) which is formed with a metal thin plate with high heat conductivity; and a sandwich panel which is formed with the metal thin plate with the high heat conductivity and includes front and rear cover plates (11,12) which are attached to both sides of the core member (13) by adhesives. The core member (13) is composed of a honeycomb core member. The honeycomb type core member (13) reduces the weight of the heat sink and provides high rigidity. The thin front and rear cover plates (11,12) are formed with thin aluminum plates with high heat conductivity and effectively discharge heat from the display device. |
