The present invention provides a method for producing a toner that can be fixed at low energy, has sufficient heat-resistant storability, and exhibits small changes in performance caused by storage at high temperatures. A method for producing toner particles that contain a binder resin having a styrene-acrylic resin as a main component, a colorant, and a block polymer that has polyester segments and vinyl polymer segments, includes producing resin particles by a suspension polymerization method or a dissolution suspension method, maintaining the temperature of the aqueous medium in which the resin particles are dispersed, for 60 minutes or more, between a glass transition point TgA (deg C.) of the resin particles and an onset temperature TmA (deg C.) of an endothermic peak derived from the block polymer in the resin particles, in such a manner that a temperature fluctuation range is 20 deg. C or less and a temperature fluctuation rate is 0.35 deg. C/minute or less. |
