<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for a cognitive development diagnosis using a plaything, capable of diagnosing a cognitive development status in the insensible state of a child using the plaything. The apparatus includes: an information collecting unit which measures and collects plaything information, child information, an interaction degree with the plaything, and the behavior of the child while the child plays with the plaything, wherein the interaction degree with the plaything and the behavior of the child are measured and collected through at least one sensing device which is installed on the plaything; and an estimating unit which estimates the cognitive ability of the child based on the information collected through the information collecting unit.</p> |
