A cutting apparatus for cutting a flexible display panel and a method for manufacturing a display device using the same are provided. The cutting apparatus for cutting a flexible display panel includes a stage which receives a display panel in a raw substrate state, supports the display panel in an absorption method, and applies tension to the display panel by a movement of at least a portion of the stage, and a cutting knife which is positioned away from the stage and moves toward the display panel to cut the display panel.
