Disclosed are a digital radiation detector and a method for fabricating the same. A digital radiation detector according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an upper electrode to which a voltage is applied, an optical conductor which generates electron-hole pairs by incident radiation and separates generated electron-hole pairs by an electric field, a charge shield part which is formed between the upper electrode and the optical conductor and shields holes entering from the upper electrode when (+) voltage is applied to the upper electrode, a pixel circuit substrate which collects charges separated from the optical conductor, and an image processing part which detects charges collected in the pixel circuit substrate and generates an image. Also, the charge shield part includes a nanomaterial layer formed on the optical conductor by using an electrospinning method.
