An optical phase retardation film, a manufacturing method thereof and a display device including the same are provided to align adjacent LC molecules as rotating pre-polarized light at 90 degrees or changing the light into circular polarization light or elliptic polarization light. An optical phase retardation film(500) comprises projection line patterns(510,520) having LC(Liquid Crystal) orientation. The projection line pattern has a phase difference within a range of 0~lambda/2 and is made from photo-curable LC polymer. Through the LC orientation, the plural projection line patterns align LC molecules(301,302) which will be disposed to be adjacent. The plural projection line patterns have different longitudinal directions. The plural projection line patterns include a first projection line pattern having anisotropy and a second projection line pattern having isotropy where a phase difference is zero. |
