The present invention relates to a sex pheromone compound for attracting stathmopoda auriferella, capable of recognizing occurrence of stathmopoda auriferella using (E)-5-hexadecenyl acetate extracted from sex pheromone gland of female stathmopoda auriferella known as a harmful insect harmful for kiwis, peaches, grapes, persimmons, citrus crops and the like and improving insect control efficiency by adjusting the pesticide application time through the same. Moreover, since a mating disturbance agent can be produced using the sex pheromone of present invention, damage to kiwi fruits caused by stathmopoda auriferella can be reduced in an environmentally friendly manner.
