The present invention relates to a filter assembly for a syringe, wherein a needle does not need to be replaced when a disposable syringe is used, and an excessive increase in pressure in the syringe can be prevented when a syringe liquid is suctioned or injected. The filter assembly for a syringe of the present invention comprises: a body which is equipped with a feeding unit for feeding a syringe liquid and with a discharging unit for discharging the syringe liquid and on which a filtering sieve is mounted in order to filter foreign materials from the syringe liquid fed into a cylinder of the syringe through the feeding unit or from the syringe liquid discharged from the syringed through the discharging unit; a cover which is equipped with a feeding hole connected with the feeding unit and with a discharging hole connected with the discharging unit and covers the top of the body; and a valve which is disposed between the body and the cover and opens and closes the feeding hole and discharging hole.
