Provided is a display room opening and closing device of a showcase having a structure capable of ascending a display room formed in the upper part of the showcase to be opened or descending the display room to be closed using a wireless remote controller. The opening and closing device comprises a display housing, a support box, and a display housing opening and closing part. The display housing comprises: a frame having an opening part formed in the center at a constant size, and two or more lifting rods arranged in one side of the lower part of the opening part; and a transparent case, in which the top surface and one or more among the four side surfaces are transparent, and coupled to the upper part of the frame. The support box is coupled to the lower part of the display housing and comprises: a display plate positioned at a position corresponding to the opening part of the frame on the top surface; and two or more guide holes vertically penetrated in the edges of the display plate to guide the lifting rods downwards. The display housing opening and closing part comprises: three or more pillars vertically erected inside the support box; multiple sliders coupled to the pillars to be vertically movable; a motor rotated by driving voltage inputted from the outside in a clockwise or counterclock wise direction; a speed reducer for reducing the rotation speed of the motor, and rotating a lead screw installed in a vertical direction; and a lifting body thread-coupled to the lead screw to ascend and descend the lifting rods while being vertically moved by the rotation. The display housing opening and closing part is to ascend and descend the display housing by rotating the motor according to control signals applied to a connector coupled to one side surface of the support box.
