According to an embodiment of the present invention, a device for setting a static IP using a switch comprises a plurality of IP setting boxes having multiple switches; a switching detector for detecting an on and off operation of the switch provided in the IP setting boxes respectively to recognize a binary number value input to the respective IP setting boxes; an IP address generator for generating a static IP address by arranging the binary number value recognized by the switching detector based on an IP address scheme; and an IP address allocator providing the fixed IP address generated by the IP address generator to a product. |
