PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for bracketing capture based on face detection in a digital image processing device are provided obtain an optimized exposure value by performing bracketing capture based on an average exposure values when exposure difference occurs over a certain value after measuring the exposure of a face so that exposure failure may be reduced. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for bracketing capture based on face detection in a digital image processing device(39) includes a digital signal processing unit. The digital signal processing unit performs exposure bracketing capture by calculating the exposure for the average brightness value of the searched multiple faces when the multiple characters are searched as a result of face recognition of a live view image. |
